The Palins Deny Divorce Rumor

This week, a rumor emerged that Todd and Sarah Palin were about to divorce.  The rumor insinuated that the couple was also in the midst of a $20 million divorce settlement.  However, the former vice-presidential candidate spoke with PEOPLE and said the rumor was completely false.

She said, “I call Todd on the cell phone [from the grocery checkout] and I say, ‘Todd, you won’t believe this cover!’ And he says, ‘Twenty million? Write me a check.”  She also went on to say, “He’s good about laughing some of that stuff off.”

This Sunday night, the couple is expected to their new adventure series on TLC.  They spent two days with reporters from PEOPLE discussing the details of the new show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”.  Todd told reporters that their whole life seemed to be under a microscope.   He said, “We wanted to showcase Alaska. It will be a positive thing.”

The couple continues to deny divorce rumors.
