Former Utah Jazz Star Files for Divorce
This week, sources confirmed that former Utah Jazz player Carlos Boozer filed for divorce from his wife, Cindy.
According to reports and court documents, the dissolution of marriage began on August 13th. Boozer and his soon-to-be former wife share three children together.
At this time, a Chicago Bulls spokeswoman said that the team had no comment on the pending divorce. The player had signed a contract with Chicago as an unrestricted free agent in July and agreed to a five-year deal that is worth approximately $75 million.
It is said that a final hearing will occur at the end of this month. However, a financial settlement must be agreed upon between the basketball player and his wife and approved before their divorce can become official.
