Michael Jackson’s Parents Plan to Divorce

This week, while fans are still trying to get over the sudden and tragic loss of pop star Michael Jackson, it was reported that his parents are filing for divorce. It has been reported that Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, and his father, Joseph Jackson, are set to officially file for divorce after 60 years of marriage.

Showbizz411 said that a source reported that the divorce was, “Confirmed.  The friend says a couple of things have contributed to this decision. One is Joe Jackson’s comment last spring that Katherine caused Michael’s death. She has never gotten over it.”

While many people may be surprised by the divorce, it is a well-known fact that the Jacksons have not lived together for numerous years.  Joe Jackson has been residing in Las Vegas and Katherine Jackson has been living in Encino, California at the family’s mansion. Katherine is taking care of Michael’s three children Paris, Prince and Blanket.
