Earl Watson Reconciles with Wife
Media outlets say that NBA player Earl Watson has changed his mind after filing for divorce from his wife actress Jennifer Freeman. Earlier, TMZ said that Watson had filed divorce papers in Los Angeles and had claimed that Freeman violently attacked him on August 1st.
According to Watson, he had become suspicious when his wife received a late night text message. He took her cell phone to check the message and Freeman became irate, hitting him and twisting his right hand. Watson also said that Freeman grabbed his right wrist, bit down and drew blood. He says she then proceeded to bite his chest and attack him with an iron.
Watson and Freeman share a 10 month old daughter and it appears that despite the violent attack, the NBA veteran has decided to stay in his marriage. He said that he reconciled with Freeman and has “plans to make their marriage work.” The couple got married in 2009 during a lavish ceremony.
Last season, Watson played with the Indiana Pacers.
